นายธนวรรธน์ พลวิชัย ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์พยากรณ์เศรษฐกิจและธุรกิจ มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย เปิดเผยผลสำรวจความคิดเห็นภาคธุรกิจถึงผลกระทบจากเหตุ การณ์ระเบิดในกรุงเทพมหานคร พบว่า ภาคการท่องเที่ยวได้ผลกระทบมากที่สุด โดยคาดว่าจะมีผลกระทบระยะสั้นประมาณ 1 2 เดือนทำให้จำนวนนักท่องเที่ยวลดลงไป 100,000 200,000 คน
