กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา ออกประกาศเตือนประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่เสี่ยง 15 จังหวัด ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักช่วงวันที่ 18 19 พ.ค.นี้ เนื่องจากหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำยังคงปกคลุมบริเวณภาคกลาง ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทยและอ่าวไทยมีกำลังปานกลางอ่านต่อ

กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา ประกาศเตือนภัย"ฝนตกหนักบริเวณประเทศไทย" ฉบับที่ 7 ลงวันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม 2555 ระบุว่า หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำยังคงเคลื่อนตัวบริเวณภาคกลาง ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัด ปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังปานกลาง ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ทั่วทุกภาคของประเทศไทยมีฝนตกชุกหนาแน่นอ่านต่อ
