หลังจากศาลรัฐธรรมนูญวินิจฉัยให้นายจตุพร พรหมพันธุ์ ส.ส.บัญชีรายชื่อพรรคเพื่อไทยพ้นสภาพความเป็น ส.ส.เนื่องจากขาดจากการเป็นสมาชิกพรรคเพื่อไทย เพราะถูกจองจำจนไม่ได้ไปใช้สิทธิ์เลือกตั้ง ด้วยมติ 7 ต่อ 1 ก็ถือว่าเป็นไปตามคาด เพราะก่อนหน้านี้นายจตุพร ก็เคยให้สัมภาษณ์ว่าเตรียมใจไว้ก่อนแล้วอ่านต่อ
