สำนักงานสำรวจธรณีวิทยาสหรัฐ (USGS) รายงานว่า เกิดแผ่นดินไหว 6.0 ริกเตอร์ในเขตนิว บริเทนของปาปัวนิวกินี ณ เวลา 07.59 น.ตามเวลาไทยในวันนี้ ศูนย์กลางของแผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้อยู่ที่ระดับความลึก 154 กิโลเมตร โดยในเบื้องต้นสามารถวัดพิกัดได้ที่ 5.5556 ละติจูดองศาใต้ และ 149.7103 ลองจิจูดองศาตะวันออกอ่านต่อ

สำนักเฝ้าระวังแผ่นดินไหว กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา แจ้งว่า เมื่อเวลา 06.16 น. ตามเวลาประเทศไทย เกิดเหตุแผ่นดินไหว พม่า ที่เมือง Thayet ขนาด 4.1 ริกเตอร์ ละติจูด ที่ 19.64 , ลองติจูด ที่ 95.12 จากนั้นเมื่อเวลา 07.57 น. เกิดแผ่นดินไหว 5.1 ริกเตอร์ ละติจูด 23.25 ลองติจูด ที่ 100.88 ศูนย์กลางที่มณฑลยูนาน ประเทศจีนอ่านต่อ
