นายพันธ์เทพ จำรัสโรมรัน ประธานกรรมการบริหาร บมจ.ทีโอที (TOT) เปิดเผยว่า การดำเนินการในโครงการ 3 จี เฟสแรก จำนวน 5,320 สถานี มูลค่า 1.6 หมื่นล้านบาทที่อยู่ระหว่างดำเนินการนั้น จะเร่งให้แล้วเสร็จ แต่จะลดการเช่าสถานีฐาน (Co site) จากเดิม 3,000 4,000 สถานีลงเหลือแต่ส่วนที่จำเป็น ถือเป็นการประหยัดค่าเช่าที่ต้องจ่ายกว่าอ่านต่อ
